Working as a Project Manager, you will coordinate localisation & documentation projects. This means that you guide technical and commercial content flawlessly through the localisation & documentation process, that you ensure smooth communication with the customer and the translators and that you strive for the right balance between price, delivery terms and quality. You will join a team of talented Project Managers with a passion for languages who work closely with the customer and other internal teams to provide the best service to the customers.

Areas of responsibility of a Project Manager

  • Ensuring smooth communication with the customer and the translators.
  • Striving for the right balance between price, delivery terms and quality.
  • Drawing up instructions for the translators, QA checkers and Layout Team.
  • Sharing and documenting info about projects.
  • Making projects profitable with correct use of pricing tables, with the help of the Account Manager. This means monitoring both external costs and internal costs of the projects.

Your profile:

  • You have a higher education language degree and are interested in the different aspects of the documentation and translation process.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of English, and you have advanced German skills.
  • You are a skilled user of the MS Office package.
  • You know your way around SDL Trados translation software, MemoQ and possibly other CAT tools.
  • You are a strong communicator; an independent organizer and you can cope with stress.
  • You are highly motivated and eager to learn.
